Q. Can I book a room for a night or a week
A. No, all our properties only offer 6 month vacation accommodation.

Q. Can I smoke at any of the lodges
A. No, all our properties are pleased to offer smoke free environments. This means that you can not smoke anywhere on the lodges property.

Q. Will I have my own room
A. No, the prices are based on 2 people per room. There are a limited number of private rooms available for an extra cost.

Q. What is included in the season rate?
A. Accommodation, high speed internet, cable t.v., snow removal, weekly garbage removal.

Q. Does the property have to stay clean and tidy?
A. Guests are expected to tidy up after themselves including all kitchen dishes and general mess. If the lodge is not kept clean and tidy a cleaning fee will be charged. A weekly cleaning schedule is provided.

Q. What happens if I leave early?
A. Deposits are full season pakages are non-refundable. We recommend guests have travel insurance in case of accidents or emergencies.

Q. How does the security deposit work?
A. On arrival a $500 cash security deposit will be collected from each guest. This will be refunded back to each guest on 27th April as long as the property is left in the same condition as when you arrived, less budgeted cost of electicity.

Q. Can I change rooms once I am there?
A. Requests will be taken into consideration, but there are no guarantees.

Q. I would like to have a friend or my parents stay at the property for a week
A. In fairness to other guests, no friends or family are allowed to stay over at the property. No exceptions.

Q. Are there cooking facilities?
A. Yes, each property has a well equipped kitchen.

Q. Is there a washer and dryer?
A. Yes, all our properties are equipped with a full sized washer and dryer.

Q. Is there parking?
A. Parking is limited and should be discussed at time of booking.

Q. Are you on the bus route?
A. Yes, there is a bus stop just outside the house. In the wintertime the bus runs every 15mins.

Q. How far away is each property from the ski lifts?
A. Creekside gondola is a 2min drive, 5min bus ride or 10min walk. Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas are a 5 min drive or 10min bus ride.

Q. Does Whistler have a large grocery store and how far away is it.
A. Yes, Whistler has 3 main grocery stores; 5, 10 or 15min bus ride away. Creekside is closest and is a 10min walk.

Q. Is there high speed Internet at the property?
A. Yes, wireless high speed Internet is included.

Q. What will the cost of the hydro (electricity) be?
A. The lodge is on a budgeted amount and works out to be $50 per person per month. This is deducted from your security deposit at the end of your stay.

Q. Is there a cleaning charge?
A. At the end of each season the carpets are professionaly cleaned. The charge for this is $75 per person. This fee is deducted from your security deposit at the end of your stay. The lodge must be left in the same condition as on arrival otherwise a cleaning fee will also be deducted of $75 per person.

Q. Is there a caretaker?
A. Yes, there is a Whistler manager ensuring the lodge is well maintained.

Q. Is linen included?
A. Yes, bed linen provided (sheets, pillows, duvets). Bath towels are not provided.

Q. Who will I be staying with?
A. Other like-minded adventurers coming to Whistler to enjoy the outdoors.

Q. What is the average age of the guests?
A. 25 – 35 years

Q. Can I stay longer into the summer?
A. Yes, summer rental agreements can be organized in the spring – March / April

Q. Can I have a huge party and have lots of people over?
A. No, there are to be no house parties at the property, no exceptions.

Q. Are there taxis in Whistler?
A. Yes

Q. Will my electronics work in Whistler?
A. Depending on what country you are coming from you may need to bring a converter/ adapter.

Q. How far is Whistler from Vancouver?
A. 75 miles or approx 2 hours driving.

Q. Do I need a visa?
A. Best to check with your travel agent as it depends which country you are from.

Q. What does twin share mean?
A. Twin share means that you will be sharing a bedroom with one other person. The prices listed are per person.
